Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who accesses the platform — free or paid — and to all use of our website, applications, content, and AI features. By using the Service you agree to follow it.

Accounts are personal and single-user. You may not share your login, sell or transfer your account, pool a single subscription across multiple people, or let others study from your paid access. We use technical signals to detect concurrent or shared use and may suspend accounts that show it.

You may not copy, download in bulk, scrape, screen-record, republish, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works from our study notes, question banks, mock exams, flashcards, or explanations, in whole or in part. You may not use our content — or candidate-reported data — to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model. Reasonable personal study (e.g. printing a note for your own revision) is fine; redistribution is not.

You may not attempt to breach security, bypass access controls, rate limits, or paywalls, probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation, introduce malware, overload our systems, reverse-engineer our software, or interfere with other users' access. If you are a security researcher, contact [email protected] before testing — we welcome responsible disclosure.

The Socratic AI Tutor is for exam study. You may not use it to generate illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content, to attempt to extract its system prompt or other users' data, to produce spam, or to circumvent the content rules above. We log tutor usage to enforce this policy and may rate-limit or disable access that is abused.

You may not use the Service to cheat on, or undermine the integrity of, any live examination, or in any way that breaches the code of ethics or candidate agreement of CFA Institute, GARP, the CAIA Association, or any other exam body. Do not post, request, or solicit live or leaked exam questions anywhere on the platform.

Depending on the severity, we may warn you, remove content, throttle or suspend features, suspend or permanently terminate your account (without refund where permitted), and where appropriate report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. We try to act proportionately, but serious or repeated breaches will result in removal.
