Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access our study notes, question banks, mock exams, flashcards, and other content for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, train AI models on, or publicly post our content, in whole or in part.

You retain ownership of any notes, answers, or feedback you submit. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and use it to operate and improve the Service. Don't submit anything illegal, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Subscription fees are charged in advance. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel from Profile → Billing or by emailing [email protected].

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary: 14-day refund window, subject to a 10% usage threshold and exclusions for lifetime tiers.

You agree not to: share your account, use the Service to cheat on an exam in violation of any certification body's code of ethics, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform, interfere with security or rate limits, or use the AI tutor to generate harmful, illegal, or infringing content.

The Service, including all content other than your user content, is owned by Omni Finance Academy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. CFA®, FRM®, CAIA®, and related marks are owned by their respective organisations and are referenced for identification only — we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

The Service uses third-party processors (e.g., Stripe for payments, AI providers for the Socratic Tutor). Your use of those features is also subject to their terms.

The Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We make no warranty that you will pass any exam, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that the content is free of every possible error. Our content is exam preparation material, not professional financial, legal, or tax advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omni Finance Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or exam results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Omni Finance Academy, its directors, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or as required by law. You may terminate by deleting your account at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in the Refund Policy.

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes to the Terms will be announced on the platform or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.
