Content, sourcing & accuracy
Where the material comes from, who writes it, and how AI is used.
How is your content sourced?
From the official curriculum plus named graduate-level textbooks, with a citation on every reading so you can audit our work the way you would a research note. The full approach is written up on our Methodology page.
Do you use AI to write the content?
Yes, and we say so plainly. AI is used as a drafting tool, but every numerical example is verified by hand and every formula traces back to a cited source. The Socratic Tutor you interact with is also AI, sandboxed to each reading’s sources.
Who writes and reviews the material?
Credentialed practitioners — CFA charterholders and FRM-certified risk professionals — author the readings, and a second reviewer signs off before anything ships. The people writing an explanation have sat the exam it is meant to help you pass.
How do I know the material is accurate and up to date?
Every reading shows its sources and its last-reviewed date, and every material change is logged in the public changelog. If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix and log it.
Are you affiliated with CFA Institute, GARP, or the CAIA Association?
No. CFA®, FRM® and CAIA® are trademarks of their respective owners. We are an independent prep provider with no access to private or live exam content, and we do not claim any endorsement.
