Keep quantities and settings together
The CSV includes worksheet, interval, timing, P/Y, C/Y, N, rate field, PV, PMT and FV. The first row is the fictional quarterly single-sum example. It is an example record, not a recommendation to use that state for every question.
Record the independent expected value
Add the mathematical check and the device display you observe. Retain its sign and display precision. A check based on a separate timeline or periodic formula is more informative than simply repeating the same key sequence.
Use the diagnostic notes
| Field group | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Worksheet and time unit | Identify the modeled intervals |
| Values and settings | Expose the complete input state |
| Expected result and observed display | Compare without concealing rounding |
| Diagnosis | Name timing, rate, signs or an unintended flow |
Treat the CSV as an editable record
The file stores values and does not compute results automatically. If you change an input, recalculate the expected value independently. Record device observations yourself; the demonstration row contains no claim of physical-device execution.
