The CSV includes the hypothetical −10/0/10/50 loss model with 30/40/25/5 percent probabilities. The horizon, source and estimator fields identify declared assumptions or invite your own evidence; they do not supply invented historical observations.
Complete the contextual fields
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Loss amount and probability | Matched outcomes, common units and total mass |
| Sign convention | Positive loss versus positive profit |
| Horizon | Period described by each loss |
| Exposure/return basis | What the supplied losses represent |
| Source and estimator | Observed record, simulation or assumptions |
| Confidence and quantile rule | Parameter and percentile convention |
Check compatibility before interpreting outputs
Do not mix currency amounts and percentage returns in the same loss column. Establish mutually exclusive scenario records and a valid probability total. Identical loss amounts may be grouped, but different economic outcomes should retain their amounts.
Save comparison versions
When changing confidence or severity, retain the previous assumptions so the reason for a result change is clear. The CSV is a static input record, with no market feed or automatic calculation formulas.
