Use the original spread sample
The editable CSV contains a long strike-90 call at premium 12 and short strike-110 call at premium 4, both same underlying, expiry and 100-unit quantity. It records signed initiation cash −1,200 and +400 rather than adding both premium quotes as outflows.
Retain the quote basis
Columns distinguish contracts, units per contract and premium per unit. A quote already stated per contract belongs on another explicit basis. Stock or cash legs should be recorded in compatible terminal units before being added.
Keep contract compatibility visible
Record underlying, expiry and exercise style. Different expiries do not share one simple terminal underlying-price input. The sample’s labels are fictional and are not an actual product specification.
Use the file as a record
This download is an editable leg log, not an option-pricing engine or trading order. Its fields help reproduce a supplied payoff model. They do not infer fair premiums, margin, taxes or settlement rules.
