Read the average as a budget
240 minutes divided by 100 gives 2.4 minutes per question, or 144 seconds. This is an arithmetic average across the full exam. It is not an official hard cutoff for each question, and tasks requiring calculation can take a different amount of time.
Separate knowledge and execution
Rehearse a small original block with a chosen review reserve. Record whether a delay came from interpreting the question, selecting a method, entering calculator values or checking units. Repeating only the total score hides the reason for an execution problem.
Keep the current syllabus as the coverage record
Use GARP’s current study guide and learning objectives to map the topic coverage. Free Academy probability, valuation and calculator resources can deepen selected tasks; a few practice pages do not represent every tested topic. Check that any preparation product matches your intended exam cycle.
Use the format to choose the next action
If the issue is conceptual, return to an explanation and a targeted example. If the method is understood but time is lost in entries, use a calculation record and compare an independent check. Keep those corrections in the next rehearsal instead of assuming speed alone establishes readiness.
