Use the fields to reproduce a decision
The CSV records issuer identity, reporting period, dataset, rule version, metric, comparator, threshold and outcome. It contains demonstration values and decisions, not automatic screening formulas. Open it in a spreadsheet and replace the fictional rows with a learning exercise.
Compare the three demonstration rows
| Exposure | Decision | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 10% | Retain under this threshold | Equal to the boundary |
| 10.1% | Exclude | Above the boundary |
| Missing | Review | Unknown input; not a measured zero |
Keep identifiers and dates with the values
A stable issuer identifier supports deduplication across lists. A reporting period helps distinguish an updated input from a changed rule. Do not combine a subsidiary metric with a consolidated threshold without specifying how that mapping is supposed to work.
Review before applying the exercise to a real mandate
The worksheet makes a learning decision inspectable. It does not verify a data provider, legal contract or fund compliance, and its fictional threshold is not a universal ESG rule. Add the actual requirements and evidence for the task you are performing.
