Private-multiple basis and reconciliation log

A basis log retains population, cutoff, currency and adjustments beside the amounts used for a multiple.

Begin with the defined fictional inputs

The CSV sample uses paid-in 100, distributions 40 and residual value 110. Its record states one population, one currency and one reporting cutoff. The examples have no recallable, recycling or additional cost adjustment.

Keep the source meaning next to the amount

Fields retain contribution scope, distribution scope, residual date and reporting method. A headline gross or net label is not a complete list of adjustments. Retain enough detail to reproduce the actual three totals.

Compare the calculated components

Verify D/P plus V/P equals (D+V)/P when the same P is used. Record any mismatch caused by inconsistent cutoffs, rounding or another source definition rather than correcting only the final ratio.

Leave unresolved values visibly unresolved

The file is a log, not an automatic source-data mapping tool. If a residual amount is unavailable, record that status instead of substituting zero. A compatible complete record is required for an exact total-value ratio.
