Private-multiple input scope

The calculator divides supplied compatible totals; it cannot infer a reporting method from three amounts.

Inspect the selected source record

Confirm whether paid-in includes the contributions relevant to the stated metric and whether distributions and residual use the same cost and population treatment. A different denominator can change the ratio without any change in economic value.

Distinguish unavailable data from a known zero

A blank residual means the complete total is unavailable. Zero means the residual is known to be zero on this basis. The calculator requires a numeric residual rather than quietly completing an unknown NAV.

Interpret the optional composition output

Distributed share is D/(D+V). Under 40 and 110 it is 26.666667%. It measures the form of entered value, not the percentage of invested profit realized. If D and V are both zero, this share is undefined even though all three value multiples can be zero.

Retain timing for further analysis

The tool does not accept dates, so it cannot produce an annual investor IRR. Keep the transaction log for that distinct task. A compatible multiple still needs separate interpretation of valuation quality, liquidity and future funding obligations.
